Must I even begin with this trend? Coral Lips, has always been one of my favourite trends to date! It has been seen all over the runways this season. Here is how to make this trend work for you.
Drug Store or High End?
Firstly, we need to remember that coral lips, are loved by many, however, it is not something which is forever in style. It is a trend the key thing about trends is they change with the season. Sometimes, it can just be tossed out in the midst of the season.
So I recommend buying a drug store brand lipstick just because, in case the trend dies down, we won't have this sick pit in the stomach about buying an expensive one. However, if you find a big difference in drug store and high end make up brands, go ahead and buy the high end one, for me, Like Maybelline and Revlon etc I honestly see no big difference in pigment or how moisturizing the product is.
What colour?
So Obviously for the Coral Lip trend, we need a coral colour. But don't be fooled by the photos above that coral is just a bright vibrant orange colour.
For Fair and Dark Skinned people, A Vibrant Orange will look very good, in my opinion that is. It will form a very nice contrast between your skin tone and lip colour
For Asians ( LIKE ME) A Pinkish Orange Coral will look best. As it gives you a sweeter look.
For other skin tones, depending on how fair or dark you are, both pinkish corals and Orange corals will look good.
