Twisties Messy Bun

Hey guys! So today I wanna teach you guys how to do this look and my Model here is my Dear Cousin Kell E who will be featuring in alot of my blogposts, So this look is basically called the Twisties Messy Bun because it incorporates a series of twists to help make this cute look! This looks like something which would take forever to do but I promise you once you get the hang of it, it will take you 5 minutes or less!

As you can see from the photo above, this hairstyle has a twist from the right side of the head down to the messy bun on the left, and in the bun it self, consists of 2 twists.

So lets get down to business!

You will need.
  1. Mousse - I use the good look 3 in 1 styling mousse because it has a good hold, and is a sun protectant. Also it only cost me 3SGD from watsons!
2. Hairspray

3. Bobby Pins

Now for the actual doing of hair part!
(P.S- I parted my hair on the left so if you parted you hair on the right, just do the same thing as me but just towards or on the other side!)
Firstly, part your hair at the left (or right). Pick up a a few inches of hair from the crown of your head (you can do your bangs too but I decided not to), this is the hair that will will be using to twist back!

Next, begin your twist! Twist you towards the side which you did not part your hair on, twisting towards your head. For me, my twists goes to the right, and hold on tightly to the end.
Pull your hair into a side pony on the side nearest your part. For me, its my left. and tie in the twists too, you want to be able to still see your twists.

Next, split your pony tail into half.

And begin twisting the first section of it holding on to it tightly

Then, twist it around the base of the pony tail and pin it in place. Repeat the above step in this one with the remaining piece.

VOILA! A simple but beautiful look!

Stay Beautiful Ladies!

  1. IF your looking for a quicker way to lighten your hair, Lemons is a good option. However, it is more damaging and less moisturizing compared to Honey.http://24healthbeautytips.com/
